Go Where You Are Appreciated

That one piece of advice, which also involved a bit of a rescue keeps coming into my mind.

Because there are no awards for martyrdom.

And the money I am earning at V is just representative of me showing up to an office everyday.

And the few days of me stealing writing moments.

There was that one day, where I saved our group-"Will you take the lead on this?" I was asked in a sigh.  The other worker was overworked, and eager to hand off the ideas and execution.  I ran 3/4s of the presentation and even took pictures of a Girl as she explained something which had little connection to the matters at hand (which she often does-eager to say what she wants to say, but doesn't provide a handhold or foothold for the information.  I do it too)

I do not feel appreciated.  (There was the Bday surprise party, and in general, it is painless)

I am in Brooklyn now, on the dime of A, who is feeling ashamed for the cheapness of V.  Nothing is fully authorized yet I can do whatever.  As long as I show up 40 hours a week, spread out over 5 days.  Like jail.

I am also not allowed to join the Women's Group.  Sorry I was so happy to participate.

It's just a matter of time.(as always)
