Reunion at a miracle moment

I had left a bag upstate in Clairyville.

More than a year ago.

I had been meaning to get back to Patrizia & Peter, but I can't go back to WaHi and it's a lot to ask for people to visit Greenpoint.

They invited me to a concert of Jerome Kitzke's music.  He's a Native Anerican focused, anti war composer.

On my way there, I heard a mention of the horrors in Paris.

I have some kind of PTSD reaction. I can't hear details, because as soon as I hear anything, I go to pieces.

I cried during the music. We went to dinner and I was grateful not to be alone in those moments.

Art, music, theater, empathy, good souls. The only things to combat the evils of our new world of "recent incidents".

Thank goodness I had all of the above. I still cry. I haven't stopped.

Expectations

The funny thing about open expectations is that you have to define things for yourself.
And you are you to say that you haven't done enough? Or have discovered new things in different ways?
Is being on the radio a good direction, or is it novelty?

Inspiration for some of the Landscapes

My view of the world started with sunsets.

Black lines against a silver sky.
Some color, some branching.

That's where it started.
